Wayfinding in Children: Developmental Pathways, Supporting Cognitive Processes, and Gender Differences

We are conducting several tests to learn more about how children's navigation abilities develop and function.

Duration â€‹â€‹

The study is conducted in two sessions

  1. In-Person: This session takes around 2 hours 

  2. Online (via Zoom): This session takes around 1 hour

Who?

Typically developing children ages 6-10 years old

Whats involved?

Your child will complete several fun "brain games" with our staff, including a virtual reality (VR) game and walking around the MSU campus. 

Where?

The in-person session is at Dickson Hall on the MSU campus. The virtual session is on Zoom from your home. 

Compensation

Each child will receive a $75 giftogram giftcard (e-card) for their participation.

*Parents/guardians are responsible for paying $4-8 to park on campus at MSU.

If you have multiple children in your household who would like to participate, please email us before signing up, and we can try to accommodate testing all children at the same time or on the same day. â€‹
